Engoito Epuan means "the way to self-determination". This project accompanies 22 Maasai women from families in North Tanzania on this path. They participate in the production of jewellery and everyday objects, whereby modernity and tradition flow together in the subjects. The products are made of glass beads stemming from local and partly recycled materials. The women invested the money they earned in food, school fees and school uniforms. A business has already developed and widowed women have gained independence.

«Global Happiness» is the name of the new exhibition in collaboration with Helvetas about a happy, sustainable world. It deals with the question of how all people on Earth can live happily, contentedly and within the planet's resources.
Happiness is a big word. Some people prefer to talk about contentment, well-being, quality of life or the "good life". Striving for happiness is an old and worldwide human longing. Particularly today, in the context of the debate about a sustainable planet and the adoption of the UN goals for sustainable development, the question arises again: What could "sustainable happiness" look like? Happiness that contributes to personal, community and global well-being and does not harm the environment, other people or future generations? The exhibition deals with these themes.
The special exhibition "Global Happiness" is accompanied by a rich event programme.
The exhibition will be on display at the Liechtenstein National Museum in Vaduz until 28 February 21.
